Welcome to Nire. These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your access to and use of the Nire mobile application and its associated coffee journal service (collectively, the "Service"). By downloading, installing, or using the Service, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the Service.
1. Eligibility and Age Requirements (18+)
This Service is intended strictly for individuals aged 18 and over. By creating an account or utilizing this platform, you represent and warrant that you are at least 18 years old and possess the full legal capacity to enter into these Terms. If we discover or suspect that any user is under 18 years of age, we will immediately revoke their service access, terminate the relevant account, and permanently delete all related records from our systems.
2. Service Introduction
Nire provides a professional coffee recording, database synchronization, and flavor visualization platform designed to help you document your brewing journey. The core features include:
- Creating personal tasting profiles, extraction metrics, and flavor logs.
- Access a shared inspiration library to publish coffee logs and multimedia reference summaries.
- Synchronizing database backups across devices securely via cloud infrastructure.
We reserve the absolute right to modify, update, suspend, or terminate any service features at any time without prior notice.
3. Account Registration and Security
To utilize the database synchronization and shared reference features, you must register an account using a valid email address.
- You are solely responsible for maintaining the strict confidentiality of your login credentials.
- If you suspect any unauthorized access to your account or database, you must notify us immediately at service@nire.today.
- Nire Team is not liable for any loss or data corruption caused by your failure to properly safeguard your account information.
4. In-App Recharges and Virtual Credits
The Service may offer optional premium features accessible via the purchase of in-app virtual credits, locally designated as "Beans".
- Payment Processing: All financial aspects of purchase transactions are securely processed and managed entirely via Apple's In-App Purchase portal. The Provider does not handle direct billing details.
- Finality of Recharges: Virtual credits possess no real-world monetary evaluation, are strictly non-transferable, and all recharges are final, non-refundable, and non-exchangeable except as specified under standard App Store transactional guidelines.
- Entitlement Usage: Credits are consumed inside the application infrastructure to unlock premium interactive recipe layouts, advanced processing logs, or specific beverage formula creation modules.
5. User-Provided Content Submission
The Service allows you to upload text logs, photos, multimedia logs, and appended notes (collectively, "Shared Records") to the shared exhibition modules of the application. You acknowledge that any Shared Records you voluntarily broadcast to the shared reference modules become visible to other participants utilizing the Service.
6. Content Ownership and Licensing
You retain full copyright and ownership of the Shared Records you create. However, by uploading or publishing these records to the shared exhibition modules of the platform, you grant Nire Team a worldwide, non-exclusive, royalty-free, transferable license to host, store, display, cache, and distribute this content solely for the purpose of operating, maintaining, and rendering the Service's inspiration showcases.
7. Platform Content Standards
To maintain a high-quality environment dedicated strictly to coffee brewing, flavor research, and culinary documentation, you agree that you will not submit, sync, or transmit any Shared Records that contain:
- Unlawful, threatening, abusive, defamatory, obscene, or privacy-invading material.
- Content that infringes on any third party's intellectual property, copyright, patent, or trademark rights.
- Commercial advertisements, unauthorized marketing solicitations, or repetitive spam.
8. Moderation, Flagging, and Removal Rights
Nire Team enforces a zero-tolerance policy regarding disruptive or non-coffee-related data. Although the Service is structured as an archival utility rather than a public social network, we reserve the absolute administrative right (but assume no ongoing legal obligation) to monitor, review, flag, filter, or permanently delete any Shared Records or text entries at any time, for any reason, and without prior notice to maintain the integrity of our database.
9. Technical Restrictions and Prohibited Uses
You agree not to misuse the application infrastructure. Specifically, you shall not:
- Utilize automated scripts, bots, scrapers, or spiders to extract data from the shared log modules.
- Upload or inject malicious code, viruses, or software designed to disrupt the platform's technical stability.
- Attempt to reverse-engineer, decompile, or bypass any security encryption layers implemented within the Service.
10. Intellectual Property of Nire
Except for the content you personally share, all rights, title, and interests in and to this Service—including the application user interface design, visual assets, software code, logos, proprietary flavor metrics, and educational coffee knowledge structures—are the exclusive property of Nire Team. You may not copy, redistribute, or exploit any part of this application without our express written consent.
11. Privacy and Data Integration
Your privacy is of utmost importance to us. Our collection, use, transmission, and processing of your personal information, unique device tokens, diagnostic logs, and uploaded images are entirely governed by our Privacy Policy, which is fully incorporated into these Terms by reference. 12. Disclaimer and Limitation of Liability
Service Provided "As Is"
This Service is provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis. Nire Team makes no warranties, express or implied, regarding the continuous availability of cloud syncing, data retention safety, or error-free operation of the software. (While we strive to ensure perfect synchronization of your data, we regret that we cannot guarantee that your espresso will never experience uneven extraction or channeling.)
Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, Nire Team shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages—including but not limited to loss of data, profit, or operational goodwill—resulting from your use or inability to use the Service.
13. Governing Law and Modifications to Terms
These Terms and your utilization of Nire shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the standard commercial regulations and legal principles applicable to our operating jurisdiction.
We reserve the right to modify or replace these Terms at any time to align with technical or regulatory updates.
