Capture the essence of your taste preferences with personal brewing cards, metrics, and profiles, while organizing them in a meaningful interactive archive. Uncover patterns and archive your unique brewing journey, creating a personalized beverage inspiration library.
3. Information We Collect
We collect information in three main ways: information you provide, information collected automatically when you use the Service, and information collected with your permission.
- Account Information: Name, username, and email address collected when you register or update an account to sync your database.
- User-Provided Entries and Interaction Data: When you choose to utilize the interactive features of the Service, we collect the coffee logs, tasting notes, parameters, optional images, or user-initiated multimedia logs you voluntarily submit. We also collect the text-based feedback or reactions you choose to provide on entries available within the platform.
- Purchases and Transaction Data: If you choose to unlock premium features, advanced configurations, or digital content within the Service via standard App Store transactions, generic transaction details (such as product identifiers and timestamp confirmations) may be processed to deliver the activated entitlements, support customer service, and prevent platform abuse. All financial billing and payment credentials are securely handled and processed exclusively by Apple; we do not collect or store your financial account information.
- Device & Diagnostics: Device model, operating system version, app version, unique device identifiers required to maintain platform stability, and standard performance crash logs collected automatically.
4. Cookies and Similar Technologies
If portions of the Service utilize embedded web components, sign-in pages, or web interfaces, we may use cookies, local storage, device tokens, and similar identifiers provided by iOS. These technologies help preserve your active login session, remember your taste preference configurations, improve cybersecurity, and understand basic application usage. You can manage or disable certain identifiers through your iOS device settings.
5. Photos and Media Asset Processing
- Local-First Storage: By default, photos or multimedia entries of your beverage creations and logs are processed and stored locally on your device.
- Cloud Synchronization: If you enable optional account features that require cloud synchronization, your photos, media assets, and entries will be securely transmitted to and hosted on our servers.
- Hardware Access Permissions: To support localized imagery capture and rich media journaling functions, the Service requests authorized access to the device camera and microphone infrastructure. These inputs are active strictly under direct participant command.
- No Biometrics: We do not perform any facial recognition, and we do not create or store biometric identifiers or biometric templates from your uploaded images or media assets.
- No Marketing Use: Your photos and entries are strictly used to render your personal visual diary and are never used for advertising targeting or marketing purposes.
6. How We Use Information
- Service Provision: To operate, maintain, and provide the core functionality of Nire, including syncing your taste profiles, rendering your visual diary, restoring active feature entitlements, and managing your personalized beverage database.
- Public Interaction: To display your voluntarily shared brewing entries, parameters, and associated feedback text to other participants within the public interaction modules of the platform.
- Personalization: To generate personalized coffee knowledge and brewing method recommendations based on your specified flavor metrics.
7. How We Share Information and Public Distribution
We do not sell your personal information. We share information only as necessary and in a minimal, proportionate way:
- Public Visibility within Public Areas: Nire offers public display galleries. When you voluntarily choose to share your coffee brewing entries, notes, or submit text-based feedback on other entries in these public areas, that information may be viewed and interacted with by all users of the Service along with any associated multimedia logs.
- With Service Processors: Trusted technical infrastructure and database hosting vendors who assist us in operating the platform under strict contractual confidentiality and security obligations.
- For Legal Reasons: To comply with valid court orders, laws, regulations, or governmental requests in your jurisdiction.
8. International Data Transfers
Because the Service is available across multiple jurisdictions, the information we collect may be transferred to, stored, and processed in servers located outside of your home country or state. - After Account Deletion: If you delete your account, associated personal information and shared entries will be fully deleted or anonymized within 30 days, unless we are required to retain specific logs by applicable law.
- Usage Analytics: Standard technical diagnostics and application usage statistics are generally retained in an aggregated format for up to 12 months.

- Right of Access and Portability: You can request copies of the personal data we hold about you in a structured, electronic format.
- Right to Rectification: You can update, correct, or modify your account details and interactive entries directly through the App.
